Kobayashi vs. Al-Jassim

Japanese player Yuki Kobayashi, who currently plays for the Qatari team Al-Khor, recently made a serious allegation on his Twitter account. He claims that the following dialogue happened between him and referee Al-Jassim during a match in Qatar: “There was one moment with referee (Abdulrahman lbrahim Al-Jassim). My teammate shot from outside of the box. Garrafa’s player touched a little bit. I was watching very close and referee was next to me. I told referee “he touched”, he said “yes, I was small touch. But small touch is no touch. This is new rule” to me and he was laughing. I told him “Are you serious?? This is no respect “then after, he said “you’re my opponent from now. I’m gonna kill you”. We’re playing for club, for the team, for family, for life. It doesn’t matter the team is big club or small club. It doesn’t matter the player is famous or not. Football must be fair and respect players. You can’t say “kill you” to the people. I hope that it will never happen again.”
